Welcome to the images world of Maya Stern and Tomer Sharabi – the duo dancers/choreographers that invent movements that none but them would have thought of or perform. When Sharabi and Stern are on stage and dance their always strange dance - they are animals, they are growing roots, they are UFOs, they are an energy that seeks a way to emerge, any way but the ordinary. 18 years they work together and in the last four years they create new works, always together, as a duo, in their own language, experiencing the drama of the twosome in every twist, with each movement. What moves them is an urge, whether in works directly inspired by nature or in their latest work "Happiness" that is very urban. It is a very basic urge that bursts through known filters and causes two persons in suits to blend and intermingle to the point when one cannot tell where is the arm, where did the foot go and how will they manage to separate, even for the courtesy bow to the public. And maybe one should read the urge of Stern and Sharabi as a drive for relationship, for contact.
