Maya Stern and Tomer Sharabi

Maya and Tomer met at 'Telma Yellin' art high school and started their cooperation in work and dance.

Almost two decades they have been working together, and recently even expanded their activities and established their own ensemble, and also started to create separately.

Maya and Tomer are winners of the Minister of Culture, Science and Sports Prize for Young Choreographers 2006, and the receivers of the first Giora Manor bi-annual Grant for Dancers.

Rococo (Curtain Up Festival in Suzanne Dellal Center, Tel Aviv - 1993), Hille (first prize in competition conducted by the British Consulate -1994, third prize in competition in Groningen Holland -1995), Wedding (2002), Full Moon, Horses, Elephant Skin, (Intimadance Festival in Tmuna Theatre, Tel Aviv - 2003, 2004), Keep Walking, Happiness, Dinner (Curtain Up Festival - 2004, 2005, 2006), Happiness videodance with the director Liraz Punk (Vdance Festival - Cinemateque Tel Aviv - 2006),

Died (Intimadance Festival - 2007), Olympia - solo piece by Maya Stern (2008),

Monk - a work for four dancers by Tomer Sharabi (Curtain Up Festival - 2008),

The Black Sea - a work for four dancers by Maya Stern (Curtain Up Festival - 2008).



Maya and Tomer participated in the Israeli Week in the Shanghai Dance Festival 2007

and in the High Fest Festival 2007 in Armenia with their work "Happiness".

In May 2008 they won the first prize in the "No Ballet" competition in Ludwigzafen-Germany with their work "Dinner".
